Day 101 (June 25)
I can barelymove my hands across the keyboard. WE didn’t get home until very early this am, and the girls woke up only a few hours past that. It is very strange to be back. I’m hoping Lori’s house is nice and quiet and their lives are getting back to normal already. We miss them very much.
Haley and Anna like spending a lot of time together, though as big of a lap as I have, Anna’s not into sharing it quite yet. I made Anna go to camp today. Potty training worked incredibly enough. Her best friend was there, so the transition was as smooth as it could be. Then her best friend’s mom took Anna back to their house so we can put a dent into putting our life back in order.
There were no guests today, other than ourselves.
Funny moment of the day was waking up to hearing Anna pretend to talk to Aunti Lori on the phone…
Anna: Yeah, Aunti Lori, we’re here in Washingtoon. Will you come? Sure? OK! And Uncle Lenny, and SamandJonahandLexiandJosie? I’m here in the apartment. I’ll see you soon. Goodbye Aunti Lori.
Unpacking is just insane. Luckily, Nikki, Lori’s babysitter from New York, is here to help us out with the transition.

As exhausted as you were when you wrote this, your entry sounded much better than we would have expected. Actually, you made everything sound quite normal. Hope things go smoothly and that the apartment will feel like home again.
I don’t think toddlers ever like to share laps. Anna’s love for Haley has nothing to do with her wanting you all to herself. Isn’t it wonderful that she is so normal—even though it probably drives you crazy at times. Anna is so verbal. What fun she must be to have around!
How is Haley enjoying her crib? No more pack ‘n play, we bet. So glad that you are going to continue this blog. Even unexciting things are wonderful to hear because what we want most for all of you is an uneventful, happy life. OK, some GOOD excitement is all right. Hope tonight everyone SLEEPS!

Welcome home (again–because I’m sure I said that in my last comment). And welcome to the newest phase of life. Let us know what we can do. In the meantime, I’ll keep commenting as long as you keep writing.

Ya’asher koach! Mazel tov! Hodu LaShem ki tov! Way to go! I’m just catching up after being away for my best friends’ oldest son’s wedding.
Thank you for still sharing with us in the outer circles of your world. This will definitely make a remarkable history of this time for you guys. It will be great to hear about the upcoming visits from aunties, “grammies” and friends.
You and Lori and Len, the kids and all have been and will continue to be extraordinary in so many ways. I think that you wiill find these relationships to be only the backdrop for the stron, solid loving relationships that Haley and Anna will have their entire lives with each other and all of your family and friends.
Enjoy!!!!

What a treat to see you and Anna at camp! Anna looks like the lovely princess that she is, and you look gorgeous, as always, and you have this twinkle in your eye that I didn’t expect. I thought you’d be too tired to have a twinkle. Maybe it’s because Haley is 1 and she is doing so well and she beat the odds and you’re back home with her. Or maybe you’re just twinkly come hell or high water.
AND…
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear precious, wonderful, sweet, strong Haley, Happy Birthday to you!!! And many more…… love, Dana

I know what it is like to have a sister who would do anything for you and that is a total blessing. I wish you all the best as you start down this next road — I still love reading about your life (you make me laugh and you make me cry) Thinking of you as always. Love and non-germlike squeezes to the girls!
